General Information
MyMatR generates real-time waste data through the MyMatR Portal — analytics, trends, and performance metrics you can act on. Its AI-powered products automatically identify materials, provide educational feedback at the bin, and keep monitoring your waste streams continuously.
MyMatR offers a connected suite of products powered by the same AI system:
- Coach — observes and educates. A multi-stream bin that identifies materials and provides real-time educational feedback through a digital display.
- Maestro — observes, educates, and corrects. An automatic sorting bin that identifies and separates materials into the correct waste streams.
- Portal — an online data platform that receives information from MyMatR devices in real time. It provides insights, performance analytics, and sustainability metrics to help organizations optimize waste operations.
All units collect waste type and image data, which appear in the MyMatR Portal. Data insights help track contamination, measure diversion, and demonstrate environmental impact.
Yes. Customers configure bin behavior in the MyMatR Portal so units match their local recycling standards for accurate identification and sorting.
MyMatR increases recycling rates, reduces landfill waste, and supports the circular economy by helping organizations capture more recyclable material and track measurable results.
Customers typically save hundreds to thousands of dollars per unit each year. When deployed strategically, total ROI can reach 20–50 percent through reduced waste costs, recovered recyclables, lower labor, and verified data-driven reporting. Actual savings depend on the product, deployment location, waste volume, and contamination levels.
Yes. Coach units ship with your choice of two-tone color combinations for the enclosure and display trim. Pick colors in step 4 (Covers) of the online quote builder.
Maestro units include the standard MyMatR cover design at no extra charge. You can also upload custom branded artwork to be digitally printed on all four sides of the cover. Download the Illustrator template and upload your PDF in step 4 (Covers); each unique custom design is quoted separately. See pricing in the quote builder sidebar as you configure your order.
Use the online quote builder to configure units, review pricing, and download your quote. When you accept your quote, you pay 100% of devices and data packages ($500 per unit per year for Portal access and connectivity; year 1 is included on your initial order) plus a required $100 shipping and packaging down payment to start manufacturing. Volume discounts apply at 25, 50, and 75 units (5%, 10%, and 15% off hardware). Card and ACH payments include a 3% processing fee shown on your quote. You can also email mymatr@mymatrcorp.com for help. See our Terms of Service for full payment and delivery steps.
Your upfront order includes a $100 shipping and packaging down payment with your unit payment. After your units are built, MyMatR shares photos or a short approval video (live video call on request) for your approval. Packaging and final shipping are invoiced separately after approval. Pay that invoice by card, ACH, or wire; your down payment is credited toward it. Units ship after the shipping invoice is paid.
Yes. MyMatR provides a six-month limited warranty for defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. After the warranty period, an optional Extended Service Plan is available when you build your quote.
An optional plan at $100 per unit per year, selectable on your quote. If a unit has a covered failure in normal operation, MyMatR ships replacement hardware. This is not a spare-parts purchase program.
The six-month limited warranty applies first. After that, repairs and replacements are available at additional cost.
Yes. Video and remote technical support are included with an active Extended Service Plan.
Typically 90 days after your unit payment is received. Orders above 20 units may take longer.
Possibly. This will depend on manufacturing cycles and will incur additional fees for rush delivery.
AI and Functionality
The shared AI engine used across all products achieves an identification accuracy of over 90 percent.
The AI continuously improves through a combination of human-reviewed image feedback and machine learning updates.
MyMatR uses analytics on waste types and volumes to improve sorting and recycling efficiency over time.
Treatment of contaminated materials is configurable in the MyMatR Portal. Coach and Maestro use the same settings. Customers can choose to recover recyclables or divert all mixed waste to landfill depending on their operational goals.
Connectivity and Updates
Every device includes cellular connectivity. If Wi-Fi or cloud connectivity is unavailable, units continue operating, capturing data locally, and syncing when the connection is restored.
Updates are delivered automatically through the MyMatR Portal.
Yes. Customers can provide Wi-Fi credentials before delivery for pre-setup. For IT requirements such as MAC addresses, contact the sales team.
