This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how MyMatR, Inc. ("MyMatR," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses information from customers and visitors ("you" or "your") who access and use our website, browser based dashboard, quote tools, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with the terms outlined below, you must discontinue use of the Services.
1. Scope of Policy
This Policy applies to all information collected through the MyMatR website (www.mymatr.com), the MyMatR dashboard, quote requests, and related services. MyMatR does not currently offer a mobile application; the dashboard is accessible through a web browser.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information during your use of the Services:
(a) Waste Data: material type, timestamps, estimated waste volume, and waste deposit images. Deposit images may incidentally capture a depositor's hand during a deposit. Our devices do not capture faces and are not designed to photograph or identify people.
(b) Contact Information: names and email addresses of account holders and individuals who request quotes
(c) Organizational Data: facility names, types, and locations
(d) Payment Information: billing details submitted through our payment processor. Card numbers and bank account details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by MyMatR.
(e) Technical Information: IP addresses, browser details, and device identifiers
3. How We Use Your Information
MyMatR uses the information collected for the following business purposes:
(a) To deliver, maintain, and improve the Services
(b) To provide reporting, analytics, and dashboard functionality
(c) To perform system diagnostics and operational monitoring
(d) To enhance and train AI models that support product functionality, including training models to distinguish hands from waste items in deposit images
(e) To process quotes, orders, and payments
(f) To communicate with you and fulfill contractual obligations
We do not sell your personal data or facility specific data to third parties.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not disclose your data to third parties except under the following limited circumstances:
(a) With infrastructure or service providers essential to delivering our Services, such as hosting platforms, payment processors, email delivery providers, and cellular network providers used for device connectivity
(b) With integration partners or collaborators, only at your request
(c) With government or regulatory authorities, when required by law
(d) With your prior written consent, for use in anonymized or aggregated form in case studies or marketing materials
5. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry standard protocols. Our systems are hosted on secure servers located in the United States and maintained in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
6. International Users
If you are located outside the United States, please be advised that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. MyMatR takes commercially reasonable steps to protect the data of international users. If you have questions about how your data is handled, contact us at mymatr@mymatrcorp.com.
7. Cookies and Analytics
Our dashboard uses cookies that are essential for login, session management, and security. Our website uses privacy friendly analytics that measure aggregate usage and performance without using cookies or tracking individual visitors across other sites. You can adjust your browser settings to reject cookies; however, essential cookies are required for dashboard access.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
(a) Request access to the personal data we hold
(b) Request correction or deletion of your data
(c) Object to or restrict certain types of data processing
(d) Request data portability
(e) Terminate your account and request data deletion in writing by contacting mymatr@mymatrcorp.com
9. Data Retention
We retain data for the duration of your service agreement. When your data access term expires, a grace period of thirty (30) days begins. Access remains active during the grace period. If renewal payment is not received by the end of the grace period, access will be suspended. Reactivation fees may apply.
Upon termination of services, your data will be deleted or anonymized within six (6) months, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
10. Changes to This Policy
MyMatR may update this Policy from time to time. Revisions will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the Services after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
